Trans Leak

Ok so I got a sm465/np208. If it looks like it is leaking from the back of the transmission between the trans and the adapter. Would it be leaking from the rear trans seal and can it seep out from the adapter?

I just had to do my seals in the truck. I dont know if its the same as a 350TH with a 205, but my seals went bad in the adapter and filled up with ATF. Caused an unholy mess and was a bear to fix. Your situation might be different.
