SOFT TRI-FOLD.....I have one on my Dodge and love it. It's what I'm getting for mine once it get done. It folds and comes off in about 60 seconds.

i was thinkin the same. i might try to make one sometime soon. i dont mind the vinyl, dont want the snaps. i think i can whip up somethin light, easy to take off, and flush fit.
i had a fiberglass one on my dodge truck, after 2 months tho i took it off and sold it, too much of a pain.

most of the time when i actually needed my bedspace i needed the cover off, was a PITA to get off and on by myself. it was fiberglass, but still heavy. never leaked or anything like that, but when i didnt need it was the prob. then seems soon as ive went 2wks without it, and get help puttin it back on, i needed to take it off. if you are not a "packrat or junk collector" like me it might not bother you. but what if you find a really nice big stainless bbq pit on your way home one day and you got that thing on it?
ive ran into too many situations like that so ive been doing without. ;)

My old boss had one of these on our work truck... sealed really well and came open for full bed access REALLY easy. It doesnt have snaps, It closes like a zip-loc bag. We fully opened and closed that lid 2 or 3 times a day and it was quick and easy. We called it was the zip-loc cover. If I ever buy one for my current truck, it will be one of these.

My BIL had one on his dodge a few years back, he loved it in the summer and hated it in the winter. It would contract during the winter due to the cold and become a pain to open or close and during the summer it was much more pliable so it wasn't hard to deal with. Now he has a trifold and loves it on his new dodge.

I have a hard tonneau on my 84 GMC, so I can lock it when I travel, I have a soft cover on my 91 silverado for daily use, so that I can roll it up out of the way when I need to haul something home. I also put a soft tonneau on my son's truck so that he can use it when he is away from home and would not be able to take the hard cover off.

The hard covers are a little in the way if you have something big to haul, but I have gotten where I can pack that truck really well and fit a lot of stuff under the cover.

Right on!!!!

Thanks alot fellas!! They ALL look sweet... I'm like a kid in a toy store.. I want em all!!!

I'm leaning towards the hard-cover though.... maybe a tan one. was thinking painting it the same color of the truck, when i get it painted...... but i might go with a lighter tan to match maybe a tan pinstripe... to break it up...
