1967 GMC LOng Bed box and Frame (leaf spring rolling Frame)
 

For Sale: 1967 long bed and frame (Leaf Spring rolling chassis) Bed is in excelent condition and had a plastic bed liner in it for several years. There is some scale and pits in a few areas under the liner but no rust through.

I have several more photos.

IF not sold the front of the frame will be cut off and I'll make a trailer out of it.

Located outside of College Station, TX. I'll bring To Austin for interested buyer. If buyer passes it will be made into a trailer and kept.

Price: 350.00 OBO. I may even include the three speed but the one piece drive shaft, the frontand rear bumpers and GMC tailgate are not included.

Well, I've got a buddy who lives in Austin. I need to see if he could store this for me until I can come down from Indy to get it. If he can do that then I am interested. I will let you know.

Would you be interested in the bed alone or the frame and bed? If just the bed Illl cut the front of the frame off this weekend to make some weight when I scrap the 1969 truck. If I dont hear from you I'll go ahead and cut the frame.

I am only interested in the frame. I have a call in to my buddy, but have yet to hear back. So if you have to do something, go ahead. I don't want you to change your plans for me if I can't work it out.

i know you have posted alot of pics, are the bedsides straight and good around the tailights? i really only want the bedsides. is this possible?

THe other guy actually made a mistake and wanted the bed not the frame so since he is first in line with an intrest. BUt Right now no one has said they would take it so if interested let me know.

My trip to the farm ended too soon and I didnt get to take more photos of the bed. However I dont think it's in bad shape at all int he areas you are talking about.

Obviously it has been painted but I dont know if any work has been done to them they looked good to me.

I did notice that where the clear coat has been gone the longest some surface rust is starting to form. Nothing to be scared of but in the intrest of full disclosure I wanted to mention it.

If you pay for the bed you can take any of it you want. ;) Cut it, unbolt it, or take it all. No problem. I know the way to the scrap man quite well.

In my third post I posted the bed only for 350 also, I think of them as one... Somewhat of buy a bed get a frame free, buy a frame get a bed free...

If you want just the bedsides i'd go$ 300.00. I can get 50 bucks for the rest at the scrap yard.

I hate to pass on the bed because I think its' a KILLER deal, but my buddy's wife in Austin put her foot down and said no more crap laying around. As I stated I live in Indy and have no idea when I can come down and get it....so please don't lose a sale, go to the next guy.

Understand 100% I'm trying to clean up the clutter myself. With 21 vehicles out at the farm, there is still a lot of room but in my head I know they are out there. Just time to let a few move on down the line.

Looking like I may pull the bed and store in the barn. I dont think I need or want a trailer bed that I was thinking about making. Sad I just dont have a lot of patience for selling parts. I figure it sells in a week or two or its scrap. At least I know better with this bed.

Sorry to all those intersted in the bed, its no longer for sale. I was clearing my stock and sold off some good stuff, crushed others that was in anticipation of a pending adoption.

THe birth mother called it off tonight, so I am putting a stop to all sales that have not been finalized or confirmed.

I apologize again for this change but since we are no longer getting the baby, I decided to put this on hold.
