Need some pics of lowered 88-98 silverados

Im thinking about lowering my 89 silverado. I was thinking a 2" in the back and leaving the front like it is. But i seen some of the project trucks that have 4/5" drops that looks good. If some one could photo shop it, that would be nice. Heres a pic of my truck:

I'd do a 2/4 drop on it. LWB trucks can look good, like that. I don't have a pic of a LWB, but my SWB Stepside is lowered 2/4. If you go any lower than 4-inches in the back, you'll need to do a C-notch.

There's a thread above this forum that has pix of 88-98's. You should look through it and see what you can find. You should post a pic of the side view, like this, if you want to do some photoshopping. Also, there's a forum on here for people to do photoshopping. Check it out.

Meanwhile, here's my truck.

If you take a picture straight on from the side, there's a photoshop forum here with guys that will be happy to help you out. They could simulate a couple different drops if you ask. But I agree with Chev too; look through the post-your-ride thread -- there are tons of lowered trucks in there.

You can take that truck as it is without changing a thing, not even the wheels, and put a 2/4 or 4/6 drop on it and it would have a dramatic affect on the way it looks. It would look good!

Shackles and hangers give you 4". 4" is your max drop without a notch. 5" and lower and you'll need a notch.

Mine only has shackles in the rear, its a 2 to 3 drop, front is stock.

I am looking for a 3/4 or 3/5 to begin with but might want more, the dropped look itches at you and I can see why so many have the urge to go lower.

i know cutting springs is not the right way but is it acceptable? 1 coil=2" thinkin djm springs hangers and cut a used set of front coils.
