single belt system???
 

looking for serpentine belt system for my 67. yall know anything aboujt this. i hav e no clue where to look.

Take a clothes line rope wrap it around all pulleys in the correct direction. Cut it to exact length. Take it to a parts store and they measure it using the metric conversion. Get the closest to that measurement and maybe the one just shorter and just longer in CM. And try them out see what fits and return the other two. Or if you know the year and engine of what it was removed from with all the A/c stuff, Ps etc is the same as yours then you can just give them the year/ engine of what you swiped the serp off of.

That was for sizing a serp belt. Look for a late model 350 in the yard take everything including the upper and lower rad house and thermo housing, PS pump, water pump, Crank pulley, alternator, fan too if your not going electric and every piece of hardware. Get all of it. bring metric tools some of the stuff can be metric. Jot down the info for year/engine to prevent the belt search deliema above.

Many GM trucks, s10's, & Caprices from 88-98 used 4.3 V-6's & 350's w/a GM serp set-up. Millions of miles on millions of vehicles so reliability is proven. You can get them off of the classifieds here from time to time; Craigslist, e-bay, & they're available new from GM Perf Parts. Although a little more costly if purchased new, you get everything NEW which offers some piece of mind.

There's also Tru-trac systems from Billet Specialties, and March Pulley Systems as well. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

Vintage Air & B.Spec's Tru-Trac set-ups are premium stuff. Spendy for sure but very nice quality & I've never read of quality issues from either.

March? Not so much....

Even new, the GM set-up is 1/2 the price of the others but you get an OEM look vs. an engineered 'bling' look. For functional daily driver types, GM set-ups are the ticket. Building a part/full time show ride; Vint-Air's 'Frontrunner' or B.Spec's Tru-Trac for the win.

Do an ebay search for "GM Serpentine", many new and used sets available. You can also get one from your local salvage yard or pick a part. These sets are built proof and very plentiful.

Uhmm.... late model?

3rd GEN f-bodies (82-92) had GEN-2/3 engines which are the basically the same physically for accessories. But, 92 was 18yrs ago so they're not exactly 'late model' any more ;) .
