What sensor is this
 

on my 6.2 diesel on the passenger side nr 2 freeze plug thers a conector and the wire from it goes inside the cab what is that for? my first though block heat but the wire goes inside the cab ???

i duno but down there on the 350 gas was a knock senser,it broke off on the 88 ...brown one,i duno bout yours
