Side View Mirrors
 

.... O K, I am in need of adding some side view mirrors to my 53 and who has some good looking after market side view mirrors.

How about some pics of door mounted mirrors.

I don't have any pics handy but I like the ones that clip/mount on the top of the door. They are out of the way of people walking by. I Kind of worry about the solid/original mirror mount brackets on theses old trucks. I Think you would eventually get one snapped off by somebody walking between vehicles in a parking lot. So mount em high I say. Pretty sure you would find them at Chevs of the 40's or Rod Doors

I have a set of peeps but I am having a hard time screwing them to the new paint, maybe next week !!

That's a question I'm wrestling with as well. I thought about peeps, and was going to go that route untill I talked to a guy at a car show last year who put them on. He showed me where they chipped the paint on his truck, so it makes me leary. Big is ugly, but small is useless, especially for a daily driver.
