1978 25U blue interior dye?
Hey guys, I am converting some parts over to the 25U blue interior color from their existing colors. I had a paint outfit mix some blue dye from their old paint code books, but they never found a 25 code for blue in any of their GM codes, all they found was 24 light blue, and 26 dark blue. I took a chance with the light blue, but it's way to light. Anyone know of any shade of paint that is close to the blue interior color for a 78'? It's not quite the bright blue of the 73-75?? shade, but it's not a real light blue either. It's somewhat of a medium blue. I need to dye some door panels and my restored console. Anybody ever done this for the blue? I didn't know if there was a shade of SEM or Colorbond that matches. Thanks Trevor
