Are pre 54 inner fenders anywhere near the same as 54-55 1st?

Hopefully Dan will see this, he has a ton of parts from all AD years. But the classic parts site shows 47-53 only on the inners.

thats what i keep seeing... this is my first truck s. i know the ir are differencec but i wondwr how much modification a pre 54 would need

I believe the difference is in where the grille and inner fender bolts up to the fender in the front. I haven't seen enough 54's to look at the inners but its only metal. I'm sure you could make it work
