TF window regulator rollers
 
guys has anyone here replaced the widow regulator roller assemblies? these consist of a rivet and a roller. got my replacement ones on the way and the regulators are sitting on the bench waiting for new ones. any special install tools needed or....;)

You drill out the old one from the back and then stake the new ones in. You need a drill, hammer and a rod to clamp in a vise to set the roller side on so you don't hammer against the roller while staking the back side in. Make sure you mark the roller side prior to staking the new ones in, Don't ask how I know that. An extra set of hand is good. Don't drill through the arm you just want to weaken the staking so it drives out easy and doesn't make the hole bigger.

Did that twice on the same regulator.

I ended up spot welding mine in.

"dont ask me how i know" hey thats my line!;) these rollers assemblies can get expensive since you need 6 (3 per door) and most aftermarket places have minimum orders of $20. with shipping those rollers come out to about $5 each but i found better source much cheaper if you purchase them by the box, they come out to be $1.50 each delivered![/B]:metal:

sure will right after they hit my door step plus i'll even post some pic's of the box. don't want to post bogus info, wanna be 100% sure of my deal!
