removing clutch pedal

I am going from 3 speed to Automatic, wondering best way to remove the clutch pedal from the truck. Steering cloumn is already out along with engine etc. Brandon

I had heard that the clutch pedal just "piggy backs" onto the brake pedal framework & simply unbolts, leaving you with just the brake pedal. I hope that somebody can chime in with more clarity on this...

That is correct. Take the spring off and the arm off of the right side of the shaft and slide it out...

Probably from removing that spring! If it's the big heavy one, it's one tough spring to R & R! Hope he ducked at the right time! :lol:
