converting a 70 to a 73-75 blazer body type

I have a 79 2wd blazer I want to convert to a 73-75 full top convertible. My top is rusted through so figured it would be the next best thing. Any ideas how to do this or has anyone done this?

OF COURSE ITS BEEN DONE

Good luck finding the windshield frame and the few door parts. I'm still looking for the caps for the top of the doors. I will do this someday.

I am pretty sure the caps are being reproduced. For the closing plates at the top of the doors, you can use a strap of some sort. The doors on my old 77 were cut, and no closing plates were welded in. The caps were fastened to the window channel with a really long screw. I'm not saying this is necessarily the right way to do it, but it worked.

That was a nice edit Rusty c10. I seen this post earlier but did not respond because of the WTB nature. Since it has been edited I will post this link . Its not mine , just one I noticed and remembered when this posting came up . Here you go.
