lowered?

I bought a 54 a few months ago and I am trying to figure out how they lowered the front. It has a 12 bolt rear end mounted on the top of the springs and sits level. It still has 8 leaves on the front springs. I dont think it is a drop axle.

It's a little hard to from the pics but it doesn't look lowered. Really need to see a picture from the side.

Nice clean looking truck you have there, has it been converted to an open driveline?

Was the original axle mounted on top of or under the springs? I will not be able to better pics for about a week

The rear axle on top and the front axle under the springs.
