Those are 250 non-integrated head PS brackets. They look just like the ones on my 250.;)

I was hoping that's what they are! That's great news.

Does anyone have a picture of these set up? I can't seem to find a diagram of them in my service manual.

Thanks, do you have a better one of how the alternator is set up? The twisted bracket is throwing me off.

Another thing that might be throwing you off is the alternator adjustment bolt. You will remove it, and it will now go from the front through the slot in the saddle portion (the big part) of the bracket. Does your alternator have a double pulley on it?

Re: 6 cyl Power Steering Brackets

Well.....you might end up needing to put a double pulley on your alternator. I'm thinking your PS brackets will position the PS pulley to run on the 2nd groove of your water pump & damper. When I put mine on, the belt interfered with the nut on the alternator pulley. So, I took the alternator off and took it to a local alternator shop. They put a double pulley on for $15 (parts & labor). There are different configurations of these PS set-ups though, so you will need to mount if before you will know for sure.

I would suggest that you mount the PS bracket and put the belt on before you take your steering gear out. That way you can add the double pulley on your alternator before getting "stuck" with not having everything you need.

That said, the stock alternator brackets on yours look a little different than my '67, so it could be lower which might work to your advantage.

That's good advice. Especially since the truck is my daily driver. Thanks again for the pics and info.
