NEWS FLASH - Trucks are Faster than Cars in TX.
 

If you were in texas for the goodguys last weekend, or even if you weren't, be happy. When the smoke cleared saturday (literally) I had run a 41.560, the fastest truck by far, and had run .7 sec faster than the fastest street machine! :metal: Besting the street machine class won us a spot in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge, the first truck ever to win it's way in. Our Silver Bullit 55 ran so fast that only three Pro/Vender class cars were faster, putting our old pickup fourth over, and proving that trucks do haul more than hay.;) If anyone has picks or video of that run, and the croud pleasing spin at the end, please post, we didn't get any.

I was out there with my bagged blue '49.

I saw the silver bullet run a few times but didnt get any pics or vid. Awesome to watch though.

that little mini was damn quick as well.

Rob, that's so cool. Congrats! I'm sure that took alot of hard work, speaks a bunch about your products...kind of wishing I had gone with No Limit.

Congratulations Rob! I got a chance to look the truck over and its cool as heck. I'm not to keen on the open floor thing though. Somehow I see me getting a cone in my lap. but it appears thats not a concern for you....;)

Go Rob! That truck is just handing everyone their butts this year. Hope you guys rock the Optima event this year! If you see my buddy Charlie Lillard (owner of Jackass Camaro) tell him Matt Ochoa says hi. Might be difficult though considering the chance you wont see him through all that tire smoke!

Thanks to everyone for the props. I will be putting a floor in it for the Optima Challenge, for safety reasons. And, I'm going to fab some closed style inner fenders for the front and rear wheels. - wind makes a differance in fifth gear! Also, I need to add a fire system too. Lots of work before SEMA;)

dont want to jack the thread, but this truck is definatly faster than most cars (strait line that is) .... such as a 850 rwh corvette...
