It is fun! I'm having a blast with this thing. I'm not sure of the maker of the chassis, but it's around a 96" wheelbase. It's a pretty basic car, but it's clean. There aren't any billet parts, except for a couple mounts on the HID lights. It rides nice. The KYB shocks are a good match for the stock torsion bars.

It's a dual port 1600. I'm not sure what the specs on the cam are, but it's not stock according to the previous owner. I'm running a 32/36 progressive Weber carburetor. It seems to be a great match for the engine. The TRI-MIL exhaust with a baffle in the stinger isn't overly loud, but you can definitely hear me coming. There's an external oil cooler, filter, and breather box to keep things clean, and cool.

The transaxle has been reworked for a closer third, and fourth gears, and has a super-diff. I wish second, and third were closer together, but I guess you cant have everything.

This is my first buggy, and I'm trying to keep the cost low, and the reliability high. So far it's working out pretty well.

Sounds like a good setup to me, I have wanted a buggy/sand car ever since I rode in a Tatum car. It was a 4 seat, Northstar powered bad boy though. I love the low cost/high reliability factor!
