Has anyone built one of these? The fiberglass body goes perfect on 73-87 square body longbed trucks.
www.LilBigRig.com The Lil Big Rig "Lil Kenny" is an easy to assemble body assembly, which converts a long bed Full Size Chevy pickup (any year from 1973 to 1987), or a Dodge 1500/2500 2WD standard cab (1994 through 2003) into a Big Rig look alike, while retaining the size of a pickup. This model of Chevy or Dodge pickup is readily available at a reasonable cost, and provides a strong but simple donor vehicle from which to work. The body assembly consists of all the fiberglass parts, brackets and other components necessary to build your Lil Kenny. The cabin and body panels are all hand laid fiberglass with sandable get coat. They are reinforced with steel and hardwood where required. All hinges, latches and seat belt mounts are steel to steel construction. No welding is required as all components which require welding are fabricated at the factory. |

Re: LilBigRig
That last one was killer

Re: LilBigRig
The dealership I grew up working at built a "mini Pete" for teh owner in the mid 80's. It was a Peterbilt 359 cab and 36" sleeper on a 1 ton GMC chassis. I got to repaint the truck ~ 1995, and it had grown a 3208 Cat somewhere in that time. It was a pretty cool little truck; I wonder where it ended up.

Re: LilBigRig
Can I borrow $15K!! I want one!! Slap in a Cummings turbo diesel!!

Re: LilBigRig
Be a cool tow rig.

Re: LilBigRig
A complete custom mini semi truck replica made out a 73-87 longbed truck. The tandem axle is just for looks but in reality the entire truck is just for looks. I want one!! Check out the youtube burnout

Re: LilBigRig
I don't know what I wanna see more... one of those bagged on 22's or lifted on 44's! lol

Re: LilBigRig
THat.....IS........AWESOME!!!!

Re: LilBigRig
They are cool, but not for the price they want. I was thinking really hard about one of these but like already mentioned, you can buy a real one for the same money before you have the lil pete done. But if I had the money and didn't care, I'd definitely build one because it is awesome!

Re: LilBigRig
I like the Pete version better but apparently its for F250s.. not that I have that kind of cash to be throwing around.
Also looks like it might be a bit difficult to get in... I would have to see one in person, but looks like the door is too high and too small. Would have to see one in person to really tell though. http://www.lilbigrig.com/images/lil_...0_005_up0w.jpg |
Re: LilBigRig
Imagine that hooked up to you're 40' race ca trailer or 5th wheel. 3hat would look awesome.
|
Re: LilBigRig
Are there any pics of these actually with a trailer? Seems like the tandem axle would be good for a heavy trailer, I guess it depends on how it's hooked up.

Re: LilBigRig
Those are too cool. :metal:

That lilPete is growing on me...too bad it's a ford chassis.
|
Re: LilBigRig
the little kenworth would be better if it had the bigger sleeper cab like the lil pete
|
Re: LilBigRig
I want to see one with a dump body or water tank, that would be sweet as hell!
|
Re: LilBigRig
