Pink 71 GMC info
 

We just picked up a 71 GMC that was originally pink & white. Can anyone give me info other than it is rare? I was looking to find what the color was called as well as production numbers . We are not sure yet what we want to do with the truck. I noticed that Already Gone has a pink coral ice truck but it looks lighter than ours. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

IIRC it's a one year only,GMC Canada,promotional color.I think 69 but I am not sure.

It is rare, though maybe not as much in Canada as it is down in the States. From what I've read (one whole source ;) ), all Chevy truck dealerships in Canada were given one pink truck to sell. They could order more as desired.

There were Canadian-only colours (< That's for you Canadians,eh?) and Ice Coral Pink was one.There was also a lime color that is the rage these days (Anyone else notice?).You got a pretty rare thing there.
