After working on the Streettrucks C-10, it was clear to us that standard C-10 tanks are not the hot ticket for Step-notched trucks. So, after some measurements and a few calls to Porterbuilt, we set out to build a custom tank that fits this type of build.
These tanks are 18 gallons, baffled and sectioned, and include new custom formed rear crossmembers. The new crossmembers are a direct bolt in for '67 to '87 stock rear rails, and will replace the stock rear crossmember. A new front mount square tube crossmember is also included. Looks like a nice tank.... But man, why are these tanks so expensive? I want to get one but man, $400+ for a tank is rediculous IMO.
