4 Wheel Drive Fender Emblem - should I have one?

My 72 Cheyenne Super 4 wheel drive does not have the 4 wheel drive emblem on the fender. Should it have one?

68-70 had the 4 wheel drive emblem. 71-72 had the engine CID like yours. (if it had an optional engine)

The engine badge took the spot under the side marker in 71/72 when the "Deluxe" and "Super" badges took over the engine badge spot on the fender of 69/70s.
