Got the bench seat in.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
you actually took buckets out for a bench? why?????? Most ppl preffer and do the opposite.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
I like bench seats better. we set those buckets on the side of the road and they were gone in about 30 min.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
No kidding, you could have probably traded or paid for that new bench.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
it was only $30 at pull-a-part!
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
we got the front barkes done today. So I finally drove my truck. it drives ok.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
typical bucket seats that fit these trucks with brackets are like $100-300 depending on what brackets and how they look. I've seen factory crappy tore up ones for like $200 or so for sale on here.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
Is your truck 4 wheel drive, can't tell by the pics. I agree with Chris, you could have sold those seats on CL or ebay for some decent cash!
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
there is a set on here for sale now brackets only for like $250.
After looking again those look like custom jopbs, but would still be worth the seats. The brackets look like ones for 88-98 trucks cut down, and the new bench looks like the one from an 88-98 truck too. |
Re: Project "Ole Red"
looks like he chose the simplest route to dispose of the buckets, and at least someone picked them up for usage. putting things up on craigslist is a hassle within itself. the spam you get. people wanting to come by and see them and then don't buy them. it's his truck and his decision is the final verdict imo.

Re: Project "Ole Red"
nice score on tha seat...what year did it come out of..
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
Hell, live and learn.
|
Re: Project "Ole Red"
i didnt want to go through the trouble of selling them, even though I probably need the cash for the truck. but about the year Idk, it was a old (probably 80's) Silverado 2. my truck is a 2wd.
im selling a cavalier, not running(cracked head) right now. iv got some people said they were gonna buy it 4 weeks ago, and we havent been able to get a hold of them in 3 weeks. and they are the people I bought my truck from. |
Re: Project "Ole Red"
now I got a seat cover, and tools for christmas( havent been on here in a long time). I got seatbelts from pull a part! and I got tires yesterday. $110(4). new battery, new alternator.
