NOS, first time out of the original box. All pieces look great, includes aluminum tailgate panels. How many of these could be left? Be daring and actually install it on your pickup or Blazer, or add it to your 401K and see which one appreciates more. $650 firm, shipped. Thanks

Very neat part you have!

I just posted some pics on the general discussion of an eagle 72. I believe 72 was the only year these were available, and probably not for long. I've seen 3-4, a couple blazers and the one pickup.

GMC, Chevrolet or both???

Re: Eagle by Chevy decal kit NOS

I think Chevy only. 1972 only, I believe a year end model change promotion thing, similar to the highlander option.

Found this thread one my phone when I stumbled across an original Eagle by Chevy truck tail gate at my local junk yard. Never heard of it, sure is a neat looking piece! Can't decide if I should display the entire rusted gate, or drill the rivets and display the alum pieces. None the less, what a great piece of GM history! thanks for posting this stuff.

Hi Harry,
I was refered to you by another member. Any chance you still have a set of these decals for sale? I recently purchased an original 71 SWB C10 Eagle by Chevy & would like to restore it to original. Here's my post with pics... Thank you sir.

I've had trouble with 10 year old decals not coming off the backing let alone 40 year old ones. They'd make a good template for someone to reproduce these decals though!

If anyone out there has the "1776" Mod Bod version, I am a buyer!

Cool part, no doubt!!

Hi 71Eagle, No, that was a one time deal for me. I have come across a few single pieces over the years, but none now.

Reviving an old thread. I bought these nos decals and think I might have them reproduced since stickum is long gone. Might slightly change the colors to fit my silver bluish 72 k5. Also, putting identical orange plaid seats in like those pictured. 70's rule!

I would definitely be interested in a repop set if you have a few made. But only if they were done to the original colors. Keep us all in the loop! Thanks.
