c10scotty 03-02-2003 08:35 PM

are those the smaller gm mirrors? those are what i have. i love em

chevychic 03-02-2003 08:56 PM

Lookin sharp Mike.

How's the visibility out of those?

gchemist 03-02-2003 09:05 PM

Visibility? Heck those are smaller than mine and I can't see a darn thing out of them. I use some blind spot mirrors on the mirrors so I can keep an eye out for the "rice".

Nice work Mike. How did you cover up the holes? Paint over the work too? Man I can't wait to rebuild my front end to I get the same stance. Looks very sharp!!

bigblock73 03-02-2003 09:18 PM

I don't see the big-ass sattelite dish!!! :D :D

Those mirrors made a huge difference! I pesonally don't use/have mirrors...but if i ever go back i will be putting mine back on (same as you have).

LOL Jeff, i was going to post the same thing.

im going to run one small mirror on the drivers side, as we're required to have at least one.

bigd65 03-02-2003 09:33 PM

MIKE, that is simply just one S W E E T truck you got there. i have to agree, i think its the TINTED WINDOWS. looks great MIKE, good job on the whole thing

LOHRTBT 03-02-2003 10:16 PM

Lookin Good For Sure Mike! :)
I finally got my elec fans up and running!:D There is a noticable power increase without that fan/clutch on there!

swervin ervin 03-02-2003 10:48 PM

All I done was put the mirrors on. The holes were rough to fill. I just used some fiberglass body filler. I am no body man by any means. It's ok for now though. The paint is some touch up stuff I bought at Wally world. It matches great. I couldn't wait any longer.

My windows are factory tinted, not by me. Well, the rear window is tinted, but none of the rest.

Not the right angle for the dish in these two pics. It's still out there though. I have some more pics on my site, but I edited out the dish in them. :)

Captkaos 03-02-2003 10:56 PM

All I can see is a truck that ISN'T going to PF this year..... ;)
I wondered how long you were going to hold out on the mirrors.....

smokinn 03-02-2003 11:12 PM

Nice looking truck you have.

Jason

Cole's 87 03-02-2003 11:17 PM

Damn:( I was sure the windows were diffrent. I've got to pay more attention during class.:D

swervin ervin 03-02-2003 11:29 PM

Cole, it the drivers window looks tinted because it's looking through the back window, which is tinted.

Chris, you crack me up. :D

1FaastC10 03-03-2003 12:11 AM

might i ask, what exactly is PF?

Jeremy,

PF is Pigeon Forge, TN. Chris and I usually go up there every spring for the All Chevy/GMC Truck Nats truck show. It has become a annual thing for us.

What Capt is ragging me about is the first year I went, I drove my truck. He didn't get to see it because he was late arriving at the place we eat at and my wife was wanting to go. He has been after me to drive it up every year since. Just not enough room for me, wife, and son. Now he's wanting me to drive two vehicles. :D

well then, that makes 2 or us who want to see you drive it! when is the show? and where specifically? i'd love to meet some of you guys, and check out some GM trucks!

79BIG10 03-03-2003 04:43 AM

Glad to see the mirrors worked for you Mike. :) They do look much better on your truck than mine for sure. I never could see crap out of them.

AirMale 03-03-2003 08:44 AM

I am changing over to those mirrors too. Was lining up the mirrors any problem?

Low87 03-03-2003 11:54 AM

Looks very nice Mike!

bagged81 03-03-2003 12:41 PM

Truck looks really good. I like those wheels.

Pigeon Forge did not make a mention of the Chevy/GMC Nats on their events page. When it does come up though, make a post about it so that we can get together. I live 20min from Pigeon Forge and work just outside of Gatlinburg in the National Park.
