Dana 44 hubs and spindles

5 Attachment(s)
Dana 44 small and large bearing splindles and hubs for sale. I am asking $25 per large bearing spindle, $50 per small bearing spindle. I'm asking $40 apiece on hubs. Prices are before shipping. The last 3 hubs I sold went to CO, AZ and KY, average cost to ship one hub was $35. Those were 3/4 ton hubs, the external hub style, definately heavier than the 6 stud ones. Last spindle I shipped was to SC, cost $22.

I only have 2 small bearing spindles available. I have a dozen large bearing spindles. I have a dozen of each size for 6 stud hubs. For external hub 8 stud I have 5, internal hub I think I have a few. External hubs can come with or without drive flanges, your call.
I also have a bunch of late-'72-81 style axleshafts, inners and stubs if anyone is interested.

Thanks all.

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

I can measure it tomorrow. Shipping looks to be around $50 through Canada Post.

UPS quoted me around $100. ??

sheesh! Dang postage, I could come pick it up for that:lol: Thanks for checking that measurement.

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

52" from the sleeve end to sleeve end. (Sleeve end?? Where you thread the tie rod into).

Canada Post charges $1 extra to ship something in a tube....they don't have 52" long tubes, they have 36" long....

The UPS lady said it would be cheaper if I could fold it, or cut it in half.....

Who makes up these rules?

i will need your address , please and a telephone number , i think i could use some spindles and the tie rod . i would pick up . i am unsure what i have for spindles , and the dog has been chewing the blue centre in the hub and could use a locking hub .

kelly, PM sent. Tie rod and most of the diff went last week, butI still have a shelf-full of hubs and spindles. I kept the original Spicer locking hubs.

AlaskaMatt, no hurry, I doubt I'm going to sell out tomorrow.

Locking hubs had one set of teeth that were getting worn, so I am including another set. (Thats why there are 3 rows of guts....)

Thanks!

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

The blue dials are in good shape. The parts in front of the spring is the mesh teeth I'm talking about, one was rounded on the one shoulder, whereas the other 2 sets were square.

I've got the spindles and wheel bearing hubs off the same diff as well as a matched pair. Thanks

what value have you put on these three , ? thanks

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

I am asking $100 to start with. If you're interested in other stuff I usually do better on pricing for package deals.

These aren't costing me money to sit on the shelf, but money talks...

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

i am interested at a 50-60 value , and not trying to insult you . I am glad that i can at least drive over to pick them up . i am just in the guelph rockwood area and pleased to see another Canadian on the site . thanks

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

Don't know if this would help you or not. Anyone near you sell carpet? They usually come on large cardboard tubes that might fit a tie rod and could be cut to length. ?? Rules are made to be bent.

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

kelly, give me a call sometime, I'm sure we can work something out. You know John in Rockwood? 79 Ford guy?

nu-72, yes, thanks for the tip. I had tossed that idea around when I was looking at shipping the tie rod. Same with axleshafts, some stuff is hard to find a box for. Thanks though.

Re: Dana 44 hubs and spindles

yes i know of John - ihear he is the go to for ford - diesel swap and that classic year of truck - i think i heard bylaw is on him at present , i plow snow for the station next to his shop and he always complained about the small row of snow i left between him and the statio9n but he never plowed himself all season , so im seen as a goof in his eyes but he is finally doing his own removal on the property and it seems to have corrected the animosity . i will call thanks and glad you posted back .
