What do you think?
Well, since this is a 4x4 I'll post it here. I am/will be going to school for welding, heavy equip and transport/agricultural equip. And probably some more like, thermal dynamics, physics, business, and structural engineering. My dad wants me to build him a truck, his dream truck, with my ideas. So here is what I have planned out so far.

As time goes on things will change. And other things will be decided, like paint, upholstery etc. Please no negative comments. |
Re: What do you think?
that is a very impressive list of parts
given the specs for the trans, I can only imagine what's in the plans for the oil burner any timelines for this project or is this still at planning stages? |
Re: What do you think?
It's at planning still, I will start collecting parts as soon as possible. Basically it will be able to hold a Peterbilt on the back of it while crawling a hill face. haha

Re: What do you think?
Sounds awesome.
Sounds expensive. Sounds like it will take a long time. Sounds like you should do it! |
Re: What do you think?
Thanks those of you who think it isnt just a dream! I'd love to go to SEMA with it, but I dont care, I just like doing it.

Re: What do you think?
Sillyoldman is right,I meant no harm.Let me clarify. It is a dream right now.One that you (and me) would like to see come true.A truck like that is a dream for me and a dream for many off us.I've dreamed up many a truck. Some I've built, some I still hope to,two I am building now.Building a SEMA truck is a dream for many of us.I didn't say "just" a dream, you did.Maybe you shouldn't ask,"what do you think",if you only want to hear "your" answer.Would you have rather I said,"Sounds like a plan"?We all post what we want to do and until we do it,it "is" a dream.Only time will tell.If you really want to do it,you'll do it.And,I'll be there with my congratulations,as I have for so many others.
