Zoomin - the parchment with red looks fantastic. Did you buy that seat cover, or was it custom made? My truck is the same red, and I have been thinking about parchment with saddle, but I really like the red.

Thanks!
It's custom, but about the same price you would get one from one of the vendors. I'll send you contact info via PM.

I'm going to shoot this over to the 67-72 Message Board to try and get you some additional info.

Good luck with the search!

That upholstery is from the Highlander package. Unfortunately, those covers are not reproduced, but the insert material can be found in a few places.

Would you mind providing that information to me as well? :-)

The reason you had such poor luck finding a picture of a brown houndstooh bench seat is that GM didn't use the "saddle" houndstooth color on bench seats from the factory. Just on buckets, like in a Blazer.

cool thanks MT, i definitely had bad luck!
i have the LMC catalog and it just had a small picture without any detail so that kinda sparked my curiosity to see what the actual material looked like,

honestly, i have no clue. the unit was in the truck when I bought it last year. I would love to know what it is. the face was chromed plastic that had aged bad, but i scuffed it and painted it bright silver. It will run you out of the cab on those 85 degree days.

I'm pretty sure it is a TK unit. PM me or maybe start another thread about it and I can give you a little more info. We had one in our 70cst.

Nice seat by the way!!

Don't mean to high jack the thread but I have a question for Miller6t9. Where did you gauges come from? I like them a lot.
