New guy - Vans welcome?
 

Good evening all. My name is Rob and I am 23. My DD is a Jeep but I picked up my girlfriend's dad's 87 GMC Rally STX for a good price. 350/TH400 combo with a 9.5" 14 bolt rear axle. Body has 187,000 on it but the motor apparently has 90K on it. Only non functioning part of the thing is the dual air.

I realize this forum mainly deals with the trucks and Suburbans of the similar body style but I figure the basic mechanicals are the same. Plus, the wealth of knowledge I found on here by lurking around for a bit pushed me to sign up.

Welcome!!! You're right. The mechanicals are the same. You're essentially driving a pickup with a permanent box cover on it. LOL!!!

Nowhere in the rules does it say that you have to own a truck!
