Blue 72 back from paint shop finally
1 Attachment(s)
It's almost been a year sanding and painting and finally was able to get it painted. I was like a kid in a toy store. I can't wait to finish it and drive the wheels off of it.

Great Job. I really like that color. Also that wood bed looks great - Is that just a slide in that you can easily put in and out? Made out of cabinet grade plywood?

The color was supposed to be sport metallic blue like what you see on the 2010 ford fusion but the guys a Macco didn't quite get it right so I'm not sure what you call that color but it does look good. The bed I did with the best 3/4" sheet of plywood I could find at Home Depot. I cut it to fit added some 1 1/2" x 2" rails to the sides stained it walnut and put about 4 coats of urethane on it. Cost me $60 compared to $350 for the usual bed kit. It is just held in with 4 bolts and can slide in and out with ease if needed. |
