6.0l LQ4 questions

Does anyone know if the pistons on a stock LQ4 sit down in the bore or are they flush wheh at TDC? If they sit down in the bore or stick out, by how much? Is there somewhere I can find out more specs on the LQ4's pistons?

The factory tolerances is pretty big, you should measure it to be sure.

Most measure .004-.007" out of the hole, but like said....measure or you're just guessing.

^^^dang that's a lot. I only ended up at .013" out with my 370ci, and I shaved the decks a lil to square em up.

Thanks guys. I don't actually have one yet and I will be gathering parts while I am deployed to build mine. I guess I will just have to wait until I get back to order the pistons.

Do either one of you know what the dish is on the LQ4 pistons?
