Anyone have the wiring diagrams for 86 or 87 diesel?

The diagrams on the brochure website are all gas for these two years.

I began pulling the harnesses apart at the firewall last night. What is the round harness connector for (in firewall) below the main harness?

I know the main body harness has core support (lamps n horn), rear, and engine wiring.

That would be for the glow plug harness. If you want CUCV info go to the steelsoldiers website, tons of info and links there.

No, I want the Civy GM Diesel truck wiring diagrams.

I have all the CUCV TMs and the wiring is a little different for the mil specifics.

Yes it sure is as I have a dually diesel Civilian Cab and chassis. Found the wiring diagrams for that in the GM truck shop manuals. Not sure how to scan it though as all the wiring schematics are like 3 page fold outs.

I'm working on a 87 Crew Cab as a donor of engine and dash harness to gain the gauges. I do have a 1991 GM Wiring book and it is pretty detailed.

There can not be too much difference between a 6.2/THM400 in the same truck model between these years I wouldn't think.

These pages are in a sprial book and are 11X17.

Round rubber connector? Dual tanks or maybe the factory camper harness? At least in 89 the glow plugs go through the main Packard 56 & 59 bulkhead block.

I've got 38 pages of the 1989 R-V wiring diagrams scanned on my A3 scanner. It's a 4meg PDF. Should be close enough to the 87 R-V and the 86 C-K diesels...

I'll bet dual tanks too now then you mention that. The glow plug through me because the CUCV does not have this and I it just dropped below the cab when I disconnected it. I'll check my 91 Crew for this plug as it too has dual tanks.
