Ride Tech C10 Strong Arm Question
Ok here's a goofy one.... When installing the Ride Tech front C10 Strong Arms (1st series of arms), does it matter what the top/bottom orientation of the arms are? If you look @ them, they can be flipped either way & will work on either side. I'm just wondering if one way is correct/better?
The BJ flange would either be slightly above or below the a-arm tube depending on how they're installed. I never really gave it much thought before & as I was prepping everything for the 64, I started wondering if anyone else thought about it..... |
Re: Ride Tech C10 Strong Arm Question
I never even notice this on the upper arms.
I thought the upper balljoint flange would have some built-in angle to it, to eliminate BJ bind at full drop. But I agree,... it looks like they can be installed either way. |

Would the balljoint flange contact the spindle at full dump, if these were turned upside down?
(and obviously swapped to the other side) |
Re: Ride Tech C10 Strong Arm Question
Mine came with stickers on them designating the correct way to install them.

Thanks for the pics Ken.... I'll look & see if that's how I had them (I can't remember @ the moment). |
Re: Ride Tech C10 Strong Arm Question
Looking at the pics, it appears the bj is set in upside down. I will verify with pics later
