now, here's one or two others on the other end of the ebay spectrum - these are CURRENTLY bid up to $5100 and $6500, respectively, and the reserves appears to be MET!! Don't know what they will go for - but at these prices, these other ebay trucks are a steal. (but I'm sure it will bid higher - it's just nice to see that it COULD go for $5100/$6500....)

Maybe they mean $2,200? I don't think so but it's the only way to explain it. The other two are WAY nicer IMO.

They may never get that much, but I think they posted to see what kind of lookers or buyers they may get. As far as being over priced, none whatsoever. There is way more in that truck that 22k. We all know that you never get back what you put into these trucks. This guy is probably not hurting cash wise, and is going along the lines of "if I sell it, great, if I don't, then fine." 22k is not absurd, not to the right person. To be honest with you, if I had some money to blow and I wanted a truck like that, 22k isn't bad considering you have skipped all the work and still have the luxury of an old style truck to ride around in.

I think the other two trucks, at this point in the auction, are a steal. As far as 22-24k for the white one, I feel it may be a bit high but, try to build one and you will see that 20 grand doesn't go very far. For example, the last complete paint I did was close to 10 grand. That doesnt leave much. Most of us on here do alot of the builds our self but, there alot of people out there that do not have the time or the know how. Sean

Id be amazed if that sold for 22. Yes we dump cash and time that you never get back...but if you did have money to blow, you would prolly still look around for something more resonabily priced and then add on a dinette set for the wife with what you saved.

Well, I never said it wasn't a crazy asking price. But we all know we cannot dump 40 grand into our rigs and ask for 20 out of them. It just will not happen. It's crazy in the sense that he thinks he may get that for it, but then again, I can't blame him for the high price.

Maybe it is not worth it for him to get rid of unless he gets that much for it. I know people think my asking price was to high when I listed mine but for me, if I didn't get that much for it I could not get something comparable. I got flagged on CL and all sorts of nasty emails about it but that is what I wanted. Personally I would not pay that for a truck with that little done but there is a buyer for everything.
