To band or not to band?

So not too long ago i picked up a tailgate for my 77, and it came with a band, side trim, and what looks like the facotry gm top tailgate gaurd(dont quote me). So i am for sure not using the side trim. nor the tailgate protector. But, i held onto the band, but i am not sure whether to hold onto it for another project?....

Yeah I'd band it.....they look fine without the band but they do look good with them to....are you going to put the under back window trim in? If your not you might want to save the band for another project maybe? Usually I see them with both...not either or

Knew it was gonna happen! hence the reason for the lack of WIW and the lack of i have a tailgate band and its for sale... it was more of a should use it? or sell it, not, "hey buy this."
