Truck control on highway curves

I have a restored 1984 GMC Sierra 3500 2x4 single wheel PickUp Truck. My dad bought it in 1984 and I had it restored last year- body work, paint, interior, brakes, suspension, engine maint, etc.

My dad & I usually drive the truck around town but this weekend i took a few highway trips. Im used to driving a sports car that whips around turns.

I drive the truck at speed limit or 5 -10 mph above and slow down around turns. Just wanted to know how u guys handle these trucks around sharp truns & curves on the highway because I can definetly feel the heavy metal ad weight when Im driving this beast of a Pickup Truck compared to my lighter/lower sports cars.

Thanks

Your driving a 1-ton truck, I don't know if you can make it handle alot better if you want to maintain the 3500 benefits of hauling/towing. I would like to know if someone has made this work though. It would be awesome to have the best of both worlds!!! Good luck with the response bro!

I definately slow down. I know the limits on my tires. Truck weight will easily push it out. The polygraphite bushings, large antisway bar and traction bars have little sway in them.

yup, know what you are driving. your truck aint no sports car. and so you have to drive it as such.
