Sensitive power steering 79 k30

The steering in my recently aquired 79c30 is CRAZY sensitive. For instance if I am sitting still and spin the wheel one way or another it will try and keep spinning and if you are going down the road and turn if you are not carefull and arnt firmly gripping the wheel it will spin all the way to lock. Its crazy. if you just barly touch the wheel sitting still it will keep spinning.... Could a valve in the pump be bad or something in the gear box? Its not like any other 73-87 ive ever drove.. Maybe alignment issue? BTW it has hydroboost if it matters.

Maybe the hydro-boost lines are reversed. What happens when it is idling and you try and turn one of the physical wheels (not the steering wheel), does it go crazy?

Thats possible because they all look kinda butchered and leaky. I am not sure I will try it tomorrow when I get off work. Too loud to crank up this late.. THANKS!
