New or Junkyard Doors?
Getting ready to start the body work on the 1986 Crewcab. The bodyman seams to think it would be better to replace both driver side doors instead of repairing. What are the thoughts of the replacement doors offered out there vs. trying to find a good set off another crewcab, suburban, etc..
Not building a show truck, just a good work truck that I want to look nice. Any and all help would be great! Paul Waddell 1986 K30, Crewcab, Flatbed Front Royal, VA |

Re: New or Junkyard Doors?
Junkyard. Nothing, I mean nothing beats GM made sheetmetal. Make sure when in the junkyard you pull the door panel and look for factory type paint spray marks so you don't buy a junkyard aftermarket door.

Re: New or Junkyard Doors?
I would try and get a used factory door....I have seen alot of people on here have bad luck with aftermarket doors.

Re: New or Junkyard Doors?
I bought a Dynacorn door. I would repair an original after getting theirs.
