rockford makes a nice sub. I've never personally had one though. I have however had Diamond shallow mount 12s, and they we're an awesome sounding sub and one of the nicer big name subs on the market.

yeah a few of my friends have diamonds and they are good sounding subs. just looking for some input on the rf shallows.

I was actually thinking of running the P3SD410, myself. I had a pair of P2D48's in my '69 and was very happy for the price. I should have my stereo built in a few months.

Its OK. Most of the shallow subs sound very similar and have similar characteristics and specs. JL Audio, Memphis Audio, and Stereo Integrity stand out, but otherwise nothing is extraordinary...

they move less air so watts to db level is lower than a cone
