New guy in Sin City
Greetings from Nevada, I just found your awsome site and have been on a non stop surfing binge. Great Info and you the members seem very friendly with help and advice at every turn. (I guess I should expect that out of GM people we are the best) I'm currently in the process of restoring a 72 k-5 blazer it is medium blue/white. blazer came out of Ely Nevada and had 70K orignal miles I was the Third Owner (second one robbed the 205) The blazer was totaly stock and unmolested just worn hear and there from 4 wheeling but nothing major. Its all in pieces with the frame complete and drive trane coming along, I scored a 402 Big Rock and 400 still looking for 205 to finish it off. The front & rear ends were like new inside, new brakes & steering parts
Body work is 90% done along with Misc. odds & ends all cleaned and ready to go back on. Well enough rambling on for now I look forward to chating with you great folks in the future. (I will post some pictures ASAP) Best regards, CORSAIR |

Welcome from NW Washington. Sounds like a good score on the Blazer, good luck with it.

Rich,
Thanks for the welcome. Nice blazer & Chevelle, did you do the work on the chevelle? It looks *****en!!! I have had 3 Chevelles back in the day a 72, 69 & 66. I have always wanted a 72 Blazer and I found mine 3 years ago and have been slowly working on it in-between other projects. I just finished (and sold) a 1927 ford roadster Hotrod/Ratrod I will post some pictures some day. |
