This one does not have the correct front end for a 1946. I would say it is a 39 or 40 but I am not real good on the GMC grilles. Would love to have the front end for my 1940 Chevy fire truck. I like the different look of the GMC's.
Great price if it was not 14 hours away.

This one looks like it has the correct grille for a 46. I would love to have this front end for my 46 pick up I am building. Great price also if it was not 14 hours away.

I did a little searching and it might be a 46 but a 5 ton model. If anybody knows I would like to know the answer. Thanks, Todd

I was thinking that fire truck looked too early for '46, then wondered if it wasn't that it's a HD truck. The sheetmetal is also different from the lighter duty '40 trucks. On the bigger trucks,sometimes,the sheetmetal didn't always go with the rest of the line.
