whats up dudes i just installed a 78 front suspension on my 62. does anyone know who makes these drop spindles? i got them from a forum member and my rotors wont fit. i'm thinkin belltech just because there is a bell stampped on them no other logo, the rotors are from my 62 disc setup and fit the stock 78 rotors just fine the hub is smaller on the drop spindle stock is 1 and 3/8 in drops are 1 and 1/4 in thanks for any help. they look like the western chassis spindles I have, but I can't be 100% sure....

Every pair of Western spindles I have installed has the word "Western" cast prominently into them on the steering arm.

The C-10 have two different rotors. Early ('82 or so) were 1.25" thickness and later models were 1.00" thickness. I don't know if the was a bearing size change or not. Look up bearings for the early and later models. You may need to find some 1.00" rotors and bearings. Other postings say the cliper will work with either but I couldn't be sure.

All 6-lug aftermarket rotors are the 1-1/4" wide versions.
I bet your drop spindles are the Light Duty version.

Thanks Bud, turns out your right they are the light duty drop spindles.Hey anybody need a set? Cheap, btw what trucks are concidered "light duty?" :m7:
