84 K20, share your lifted 4x4
 

I bought this 84 K20 just a little over a year ago, Its been my W.I.P.:devil: ever since, I put a four inch all spring lift on it this summer and it has a 2 inch body lift, puttin a different motor in it, the 383 was just too much maintence for my daily driver. I have put a Edelbrock Air gap intake on it, hooker competition headers, edelbrock 650 cfm carb, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. i'm hoping to paint it in the spring and i can't wait for that. :lol:

I wanna see all the lifted 4x4 you guys have! :metal:

77 shortbox, had 6 or 8 inch springs with extended front shackles and a shackle flip in the back. I removed the flip and the ex. shackles from the front because it was a little too high. Its got 40s on it in the pic

85 K20 in snow prep. 9" next spring with an LQ4 coming. NO RUST as it sits.

Bullet those are both way nice trucks!! i love that white and black paint job its old school looking:metal:

Thanks man. Yeah the white one is really old school. Clear coat is all gone on the roof and hood. Debating whether to go all white or original navy blue
My friend (raul) had painted it like that early 90's late 80's...then sold it to another friend of his....then by coincidence couple years ago i meet the current owner at the time, from there i bought it.. not knowing it use to belong to my friend Raul. It has the original 305,smog pump exhaust manifolds everything prolly has over 300thousand miles or so. This year going to start cleaning up the interior.

Wow alot of miles on that thing to still look so great! Got to love the ol' Chevys. Even though that paint is oldschool it fits that truck:metal: good luck on it! :bann:

Those trucks look great. I love my 2wd and would love a lifted 4x4 but only if I could utilize the lift by offroading..... which I really can't in Connecticut :-(

ya i know certain areas have different needs . . i grew up on a farm in the boonedocks of nowwhere soo its in my blood to want a lifted 4x4, but i really want a 4 door 454 twowheel drive square body with a air bag kit or something for a little lower stance. :metal:
