A good media blaster in the Austin or surrounding areas?
Got a short bed frame...grinding is REAL messy.

find somebody nearby to sandblast the frame, there is a guy here "backyard customs" who i asked to do my frame, he said about $150.

I almost brough back the frame we talked about, Good thing I didnt... ;)

Congratulations on getting one!!!

I second commercial services. THey have stripped and powercoated items for me in the past.

If you still have that longhorn bed my friend is very interested in it. Let me know.

I used Commercial Services for my front suspension clip. I did the whole truck with a ginder and about 30 wire wheels and a pressure washer. The front clip had so many grooves and creveses that I really had to have it done. Its not real cheap there but convenient for me as I live off Howard lane .....

yeah...the guy sold this one and it fell through...real good shape. Thanks for your interest in getting me one. Have your friend email me about the bed.
I have gotten pricing to blast the frame from $150 to $500....quite a range. I just have to decide how dirty I want to get for $150.....

Hey there used to be a place out side of Austin that did powder coating and blasting off of the road that goes out to Mustang Ridge. Dont know the name or the location exactly but they were on the left hand side heading down from austin.
