I just bought a 1982 S-10 reg cab short box that i plan on turning into a drag truck. I paid 850 for the truck and it already has the V-8 conversion do to it. I am just looking for some input on a drive trail to put in. I got a turbo 400 for a tranny and think im going to put a 4.10 rearend in the truck but as for a motor it has a brand new 260 or 290 horse 350 in it. just thinking ill put an edelbrock performance package with a shot of nos tell the bottom end gives out. tell me what you think.

sounds like you already have the drive train..350/th400. Throw it all together with a posi and see what it does! S10's make sweet little racers.
