Had an opportunity to purchase a set of rims
1 Attachment(s)
Just had these drop into our hands for $850.00 for the whole set with tires. !8 X 8 on the front and 20 X 10 on the rear, with Kumho Ecsta tires. They still have plenty of tread left and the rims are only a year old.

Nice, now if I can only find a set to drop into my hands without dropping over 2k.

Any trouble mounting the front wheels?
Or does your truck have the 1" Light Duty rotors on it? |

Re: Had an opportunity to purchase a set of rims
Good question. We read all of the discussions on another thread about the fitment of the rims to the hub on the front of a truck. Yes, we have the 1 1/4" front discs and yes there is a slight push on the center caps of the front wheels. When we picked up these wheels, the fronts had a 1/4" spacer behind them---I left that on the bench and put a slightly thinner spacer (5/16) on and then shaved the center cap's plastic tabs a little with my bench grinder. The caps now snap on and they seat like they should. The real problem to this whole deal is the fact that the GM center caps for the hub has a large ring around it to let the cap seat onto the hub. If that tab was gone, then there would be more than enough room for the wheel's caps.
