Never had any, but have thought about it. And they look like they are really good quality.

I can tell you from being in the sign business it would be tough to reproduce these for $23. I would imagine it would take me 2-3 hours to produce the design and that in itself would easily have eaten up the $23. I will be buying a set for my 84!

Well, They say you can install them in a hour but I don't see how with good results. The only kicker I ran across was with the OP gauge, It has a needle stop pin. The overlay didn't have a hole for this pin so it took some time to get it aligned to punch a hole in it, I used a mechanics pick to punch through.

Took about 4 hrs after it was on the table, But I did some other work on it as well.

It took me about 45minutes once I had out of the truck! But I've put on lots of dirt bike graphics in the past so that practice helped.

I bought some of these a year or so ago, but have not put them on yet. I have been waiting to get back to the interior, but this actually reminded me I have them.

Re: anyone have the white faced overlays?

Just my personal opinion, but I think the "white faced gauge" trend ran is course a couple years ago.

Nicely restored stock gauges, or tastefully done aftermarkets look so much better.

Look at Kens truck...how do you think white overlays would look in it??

Again, just my opinion.

You may be right Jeff, I put mine on 4/5 years ago but have yet to get it in the truck. My build theme is part stock part old skool with some late custom mixed in, Since I've already bought a matching white faced tach I guess the overlays will add to the old skool part..... ;)

Hey, it is your truck, all that matters is that YOU like it. :) I won't hate it or bash it, I promise. Its a 73-87, it take a LOT for me NOT to like one. ;)
