I would say about $200-$300 too high.

my good buddy Bill over at vintage chevy truck just sold one a few weeks ago for about the same money. makes me want an alarm system for my storage container that is full of NOS pieces for my trucks. i think i paid around 400 a piece for mine many years ago, maybe i got a better deal since i ordered 3 of them.--i had money---and a wife---back then. it's amazing what an ugly divorce can do to your "fun" money, lol.

Yeah LMC has a reproduction for 999.95.... That doesn't seem bad for OEM shipped.

If anyone is in the market for one...keep looking if you have time...they sell between 5-700 quite often on ebay. I bought one last year for 550 shipped.

I paid 850 for nos inner and outer shipped. GM parts still sells 69-70 outer grill for around 800 if I remember correctly.

Thats Just unreal. I paid $100 last year for complete grill inner and outer all mounting hardware with headlight rings from craigslist all new. Guess I really got a deal.

Sad to think that grill is 1/10 the price I paid for the 69 C-20 I bought a few days ago.

Been looking for some time for "THE DEAL" on a '69-'70 grille. I just found a brand new still in box w/GM part # for $350 on craigslist, so I snagged it. I felt that it was a good buy given the prices I have seen on new GM and the repops with and w/o Chevrolet script.

Re: Are the 69-70 Grilles this valuabe??

Crazy high to me! And it's not even a 69-70 stamping. More like a 1980's NOS piece.

Sometimes I'd rather buy an entire truck for $500 with a straight grill, then polish and paint it.

Hey Jerry, Noticed you have several 72's. We think all 67-72 trucks are neat but think the 72 is pick of the litter. go to www.pickupsandparts.com to get our story and look at Jason's current project. This truck is being built "very correctly" and with Nos stuff. We still need a few items. Do you ever sell any of your Nos stuff?
Happy new year Paul and Jason

How much would the first generation mint NOS grill (larger gap between turnsignal and headlight) be worth? Many NOS parts were not made the year stated, they were produced in later years as service parts. Depending on part, these pieces could have been made up to 20 years after. Trying to determine the year the NOS part was made is sometimes difficult.

GMpartsdirect.com lists it for $498.98. Hmmm sell two a week for a grand, quit my real job.............................

The seller of the grill is the cheapest I've found for a turn signal switch for a tilt column.

Re: Are the 69-70 Grilles this valuable??

interesting that the seller is a vendor of parts for these trucks, yet lists a k/30.

 its free shipping at least;). There was one on craigs not to long ago that was $80, the guy just wanted it gone.

Re: Are the 69-70 Grilles this valuable??

It depends on how nice you want your truck. Compare the quality of older NOS with anything made in recent years.
