94 s15 4x4
3 Attachment(s)
I picked this up today for $300 bux. 94 s15 4x4 with 4.3 and auto. Guy said 5 people told him the motor had jumper time or busted the timing chain. SO I bought it thinking it needed a new motor but for $300 I couldnt go wrong. Well I messed with it for about 20 mins when I got home, I stuck a used ignition module in it out of an old distributer and the thing fired up and runs great! AWESOME. running driving truck for 300 bux. Its REAL dirty. I havent cleaned it or done anything but get it running. He was going to haul it off for scrap tomorrow if I didnt buy it. He already sold the cat off it so I will have to fix that. It also needs the front end rebuilt. The ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, etc are all shot. So after a lot of cleaning, tune up and change fluids, front end rebuild, and patch exhuast where cat was and it will be a good little truck.

Its a z motor and I'm glad.. I like TBIs. I only like the W motors if it belongs to a customer and I'm the one sticking the new injector spyder in it lol. YOU SCORED on the 97! |
Re: 94 s15 4x4
I have a 95 jimmy with the "W" in it..183,000 miles..and dont use a drop of oil..runs like a new one..Its 4x4 too..comes in handy in the snow/mud around here..
I have a 94 "Z" 4.3 motor here,it was a reman with about 15,000 miles on it. complete take out with harness..if you know someone who needs one. |

Re: 94 s15 4x4
the front end is shot... I mean everything, inner and out tie rods, pitman arm, control arm bushings, idler arm etc... everything...... SO instead of rebuilding the stock front. I am concidering doing a soilid axle swap. I got an extra dana44 front and 10bolt rear and and 4in front lift springs. BUT if I use chevy axles, I have to change my transfercase. If I use jeep wagoneer or ford f250-f350 axles I can use stock so I dunno what axles I will use but I think I am gonna do this. And if it goes OK. I am gonna swap solid axle under my 96 z71 and go up to a 44in tire. Then take the independent lift and 38s from my z71 and stick on my 99 tahoe 4x4. lol... Too many projects.. not enough money or time lol,.

I bought this 98 2dr 4x4 blazer. Gonna use the front end, wheels and tires, electric windows, maybe dash swap in my s15. Should be fun!

Re: 94 s15 4x4
It should have a good trans, front and rear axle, doors, fenders, hood, tail gate, dash, etc. there is no passenger seat in it. Has good drivers seat and rear seat.
