how do you like them? do they rattle the truck/car alot?

Re: solid motor mounts

They were awesome, theres alot of energy wasted in the twisting motion from the motors torque, with solid mounts its transferred right to the chassis. didn't vibrate or rattle as bad as people lead you to believe....

well somebody correct me if I'm wrong but,

All you need is the solid steel frame side of the mount. the engine side is already solid steel.

If you go solid on the engine, make sure you use rubber or other flexible mount for the tranny, otherwise you'll crack the housing. Seen it done, more than once.
