Sweeeeeeeett!!!!!! That is beautiful!!!! Do you have more pics of your fuel tank installation? What type and where are you locating the spout? Lots of us are doing these now and any info is helpful. What is on the back wall of the cab? Is that sound deadening material? Your truck just looks outstanding...how low is it going to be...does not look like you did a "c" notch.

Looks good. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

So, a farm truck, eh? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/wink.gif
Nice! |
Thanks again guys......let's see, where to start.....it is supposed to be a 4/6 drop, but I really can't tell yet..it does have sound reducing material sprayed on the back wall of the cab, but that will soon be carpet anyways......as for the tank installation, it is a homemade tig welded stainless steel unit, that holds 19 gallons and uses a stock sending unit, that has been modified to fit this tank.....that way, the ohms and stuff should still be right.....I can email pix of it, if somebody wants them....oh yeah.my filler is a "cool cap" from Air Ride Technologies, which will be mounted flush in the back side of the rear wheel house/tub...any more questions, feel free to email me bminnic@bellsouth.net...bout forgot.it does have a C-notch, that I made by cutting a pc. of 5 inch diameter steel in half, then welding in those sections.. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

Nice truck! very very nice truck! I bet you can't wait to get it on the road!
What size tires are those on the front and back? I was wanting to know also, is this truck going to be tubbed out in back? sam |
|
Thats one fine truck you there. I would also like to know what size tire and wheel you got out back and if you are going to have to do any cutting to make them fit. Thanks
------------------ 1968 swb IM-Bufechevy56 |
Well guys, yes...I did have to cut the bed floor, "and it hurt my feelings bad too", but I wanted a tubbed truck and there is no turning back now.......tires are 205/75 Goodyears in front and Hoosier Pro Street Radials 29.5x15.50-15, on 15x12 Weld draglites, but you know I test fitted the bed the other day and I do think it will hold a 15x14 wheel and 18.50 on the tires......dunno.we will see http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif Thanks again for the compliments
