shuttering under load?

recently i took my truck wheelin, and upon this a had to pull my buddy out of the mud(dodge guy, what are you going to do?) and since then i have had this shuttering sensation while the truck is under load, whether it be just normal driving or haulin' something. almost feels like a miss fire, but not quite if that makes sense. same trip off road tho i punctured a muffler, my biggest question is, since it has true duals, would the difference in back pressure between banks be causing such a shutter from the engine under load? and i am confident that the sensation is coming from the engine, not drive line. what else could it be? info for the truck is in my sig if any of that matters. thanks ahead of time for any help.

Re: shuttering under load?

If it is a manual transmission I would say clutch.......try it in a high gear from a standstill it the engine revs high its the clutch or its adjustment....
